THE ASSOCIATION OF JUNIOR LEAGUES INTERNATIONAL, INC., a New York nonprofit corporation (“AJLI” or “we” or “us”), maintains this Privacy Policy as part of its Terms and Conditions of Use (the “Terms”). This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the www.abolishmovement.org website operated by AJLI and (the “Site”) and the features and services available from time to time on the Site to visitors. It is intended to provide you with a description of how the personally identifiable information you provide through your use of the Services (collectively your “Personal Information”) is collected and used and the measures we take to protect your Personal Information.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to any personal information or other information collected by AJLI through any means other than through the Services.

AJLI reserves the right to revise the Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason, including as necessary based on changes to the Services, our Personal Information collection and use practices and applicable laws. Any revisions to the Privacy Policy will be posted on this page and such posting will constitute notice to you of the change, will show the effective date of the current Privacy Policy and will be effective when posted. Generally, these service providers and consultants will be obligated to use your information only as necessary in connection with their provision of services and to maintain reasonable safeguards to protect your information.

Enforcement of Laws/Legal Requirements: We may share your information to comply with applicable laws or in cooperation with legal authorities, which may include, among other things, disclosure of your information in connection with a subpoena or court order. Additionally, we may share your information when we believe it is necessary to enforce the Terms or to protect the rights and property of AJLI, Members or non-member users of the Site or to protect the health and safety of any individual.
Transfer or Sale of Business: In connection with our continued operations, we may combine (whether by merger, membership, purchase or other method) with another entity or transfer or sell a portion or all of the operations or the assets to another entity. In the event of any of these types of transactions your information may be among the assets transferred or may come under the control of the new entity.

AJLI does not sell or, except as stated above, share your information with third parties for marketing purposes or otherwise without your permission.

The Services may contain links to other websites which are not operated by AJLI, including, but not limited to, links to the websites of Leagues and AJLI’s corporate sponsors and partners and also may contain advertisements from other companies. This Privacy Policy is only applicable to Personal Information and other information you provide to AJLI. When you link to and access a third party website, any Personal Information or other information that you provide at that website will be governed by the practices and privacy policy of the applicable third party. We have no responsibility for the practices or privacy policy of any of third party, including those to which you may be linked through the Services.

Additionally, any website that you visit via a link, including those of AJLI’s corporate sponsors and partners, may use cookies or other tracking technologies for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to, monitoring the effectiveness of their links and traffic received via those links. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any cookies or tracking technologies that may be used by an operator of a website that you visit via a link from the Services and the third parties practices regarding the use of cookies and tracking technologies will be governed by the privacy policy of the applicable third party.

When you visit a website via a link from the Services, including those of our corporate partners and sponsors, your IP address may be automatically received by that third party. No other information is provided by AJLI to the operator of any third party website that you may visit via a link from the Services.

AJLI may customize the content delivered to you based on your Profile and use of the Site and Services. For example, when a member of the Junior League of the City of New York visits the Site or uses the Services images from that geographic location may appear in the background or on the Site.

A note to residents of the European Union, Canada and Mexico:

AJLI is located in the United States and operates this site from the United States. Any information that you provide to us will be transferred out of your home country to the United States. By providing Personal Information to us, you are consenting to its transfer to and storage in the United States and to its use and disclosure as described in this Privacy Policy. The United States does not afford statutory protections for Personal Information equivalent to those within the European Union, Canada and Mexico.
As stated above, to create an Account and access the Services we do require that you provide certain Personal Information, including but not limited to your first and last name. Depending upon the Services that you use, you also may be asked to provide us with your mailing address, e-mail address, phone number, credit card number and/or pin/access code.

We also will collect other Personal Information that you choose to provide to us. For example, if you contact us for assistance or with an inquiry you may be asked to provide your first and last name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone number, order number (if inquiring about a purchase made through the Services) and such other information as you wish to submit to us for our assistance.

At any time you may elect to not provide Personal Information to us, but in that event you may not be able to access the Services.
