2nd Annual Human Trafficking Youth Awareness and Prevention Conference
Human trafficking inflicts horrific trauma on victims and the community. This exciting one-day free conference will empower 7th – 12th graders in SE Wisconsin to avoid the pitfalls of human trafficking and stay safe all in a fun environment.
Sessions, with both local and national experts, will include topics such as self worth, healthy relationships, social media safety, communication skills, and self-defense intended to minimize risk factors and reduce vulnerabilities. The free event will also feature a keynote by a human trafficking survivor. Lunch, snacks, prizes, and fun activities will keep the day energized.
A BONUS Parent Track will take place in the same building as the Student Track, in a separate adult learning space from 9-1.
Space is limited for this FREE event.
The Student Track at the conference includes lunch, snacks, and prizes along with a full day of interactive teaching and fun. All attendees must register before March 22nd. Registration will close if we reach capacity ahead of this date. Organizational Youth Leaders who wish to accompany students must submit to undergo a background check as well as organization verification.
