The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services invites you to stream our 1.5-day Health and Human Trafficking Symposium on November 28–29, 2018. This event is a 10-year follow up to the 2008 National Symposium on the Health Needs of Human Trafficking Victims and will inform current and future anti-trafficking efforts for the health care and anti-trafficking fields. Panels will present on the following:
- Integrating Primary and Behavioral Health Services for Trafficking Survivors
- Early Intervention and Prevention of Human Trafficking
- Trauma-Informed Screening
- Addressing the Health Needs of Minors and Young Adults
- Addressing the Substance Use and Co-occurring Mental Health Needs of Trafficking Survivors
- Reflections on Next Steps for Research, Evaluation, Technical Assistance
