Colorado’s 24/7 Human Trafficking Hotline is managed by the Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking. It is supported through the dedication of incredible volunteer advocates. Advocates are trained to handle a variety of call and/or text scenarios with a focus on connecting callers to the hotline’s vetted list of resources and referral agencies around the state. Training sessions are held several times per year. Candidates must attend an entire session to become an advocate. The 2020 Spring Session will be: 4/18, 4/19, 4/25, 4/26. Approved advocate candidates receive 50 hours of in-depth training in preparation to support the hotline.
